Mayfield Construction was established in 2005, so we were still a fairly new business when the real estate market suddenly dropped in 2008. Although many other construction companies went out of business during this challenging time, we succeeded by working with as little overhead as possible so we could offer the lowest prices to clients. Ray Mayfield is the President of Mayfield Construction and an experienced contractor and design professional. He has over 20 years of experience in design engineering and has worked with everything from spillway structures and power sub-stations to old land reclamation designs.
Mr. Mayfield is well known within the Lakeland community. This is partly due to the fact that he was the President of the Lakeland Roller Hockey League for six years, and coached for twelve years total. It also has to do with his professional experience. Mr. Mayfield has worked on a number of high profile projects in the greater Tampa Bay and Orlando areas, including the Contemporary Building at Disney World and George M. Steinbrenner Field, which is home to the New York Yankees’ minor league team.
As a contractor, Mr. Mayfield is known for his professionalism, timeliness, honesty, and commitment to his clients. He prides himself on carefully listening to what clients have to say so he understands exactly what they want and need in their homes.
